a) Double-click the PowerPoint Viewer shortcut icon, if one exists. (The PowerPoint Viewer opens.)
b) Create and use a shortcut icon, if one does not exist:

Start menu
2] Select 'Run...' from the Windows 'Start' menu. (The Run dialog box appears.)
3] Type the following in the 'Command Line' box:
C:\<path>\PPTVIEW.EXE
(where C: is the drive letter of the disk where the PowerPoint viewer is stored, <path> is the full directory path to the PowerPoint viewer on that drive, and PPTVIEW.EXE is the executable program file).
4] Click 'OK'. (The PowerPoint Viewer opens.)
2) Select the desired file type from the 'List Files of Type' drop-down list box:
a) To run a single slide show, select 'Presentations (*.ppt)'.

6) (Optional) To use the set timings rather than manual clicking to move to the next slide, select the 'Use Automatic Timings' check box.
7) Click 'Show'.
